Winter Extravaganza gala
Over the weekend of 11-12th December York City Baths Club are organising a gala at John Charles Centre for Sport. There are lots of events available to enter and you can swim in any or all of the sessions. The gala offers sprints along with some longer events.
For each age group there are races for:
50m, 100m and 200m for each stoke
100m and 200m IM
For 10 years+ 400m freestyle and IM
There will be medals for the top three swimmers in each age group for each event. If this is your first gala please check with Chris Kitson or Julie Winters that this gala is appropriate before submitting an entry form. You should not enter any more than 3 events per session so that you get sufficient recovery time.
Each event is £6.00 to enter. City of Bradford SC are also attending this gala and COBSC members should enter with Bradford and not Ilkley.

You must not have an electronic time faster than the cut off times (see end of document). On the day you will swim against people who have a similar entry time to your own. You can find your electronic times by following this link https://www.swimmingresults.org/individualbest/ add your SE number or surname and then click on your name. A time trial can be arranged if you want to enter an event you have not done before.
Entries for this gala will be taken electronically and must be paid for by the final entry date – Thursday 16th September.
